As the world grows increasingly chaotic, modern culture is doubling down on the classic strategies of numb, resist and control. Expand the Box is an initiation into adulthood, into radical responsibility, giving you the tools to create the culture you want to live in.

• Understand and use the power of feeling anger, sadness, fear and joy to guide you through life.
• Identify and rewrite the stories that are holding you back.
• Develop the capacity to be present and able to respond from moment to moment.
• Navigate uncertainty to arrive at extraordinary new possibilities.
• Become the authority in your own life and create contexts for connection, growth and relationships to flourish.

What you choose to do is up to you. Others have said that they used the skills they learned in Expand the Box to experience more aliveness and joy, to become aware of and adjust their impact on the world, to become a source of transformation, and to activate and inspire others.

KIRI BEAR
Kiri has been exploring deep Earth connection since her early 20s as a participant and a facilitator in deep ecology, the Work that Reconnects, wilderness rites of passage, and through formal study.

She is committed to healing patriarchy in herself and others, stemming the tide of intergenerational trauma by training folks in skills to relate to self and other with clarity and compassion. Kiri is passionate about change from the inside out, learning to feel and reconnect so that we are inspired to live in mutual support of our fellow humans and the web of life.

Total training cost is $350 for food and accommodation, plus a training fee of $995 – $1495 (sliding scale). Returning participants receive substantial discounts on the training fee ($640 2nd time, $320 3rd time, $160 4th time).

Accommodation will be shared dorms or camping (note that it can get very cold at this time of year). You are welcome to arrive from 4pm Wednesday 10 August.
